  Expensive and rushed for personal tax services in my opinion. I was not able to talk to the accountant before she did my taxes (I even asked), I had questions as this was the first year I was filling common law. They charged $40 extra to put in about 5 medical receipts for my girlfriend, asked for a $100 deposit before hand, and then took more afterwards. Then I received a letter stating that my girlfriend and I owe the CRA over $200 dollars each. This is why I had questions and wanted them answered beforehand. Filing with H&R again next season. Why pay more and get exactly nothing for it?

As a small business owner, it is a great feeling to be able to drop off a months worth of invoices, bank statements, receipts etc and know it will be done right.
