  In addition to the exhibits, we also enjoyed the building itself. They used a former Carnegie library building that has great windows and character and added on a new, modern section to get extra space. The marriage of old and new really works.

  We went to the MacLaren Art Centre because one of their exhibit areas featured historical photographs. In fact, there are four galleries in the Centre, each with a different exhibit, so there was much to see and enjoy.

  Located in the former public library building. It's an arty classic architecture from both outside and inside. Two floors are presented for galleries, premiere halls and meeting centres besides the snack bars at the front entrance. Could comfortably host 80 guests

  Great art gallery with superb pieces of art. This building encompasses the old Carnegie Library building in a fantastic matchup between old and new construction. It was great taking my little one to see some art. The cafe and gift shop are also a nice youcj.

  Love the cafe, and you can view all artwork after enjoying a coffee by the fireplace. Tour is by donation. Great little gift shop too!

  I also found the staff at the front desk to be particularly warm and welcoming. They made sure we knew where all the exhibit spaces were located so that we wouldn't miss anything.

  Small gallery with a great selection. It has quite a few visiting presentations. Small cafe that serves light lunch, where you can feel refreshed
