  Do not leave your drinks unattended @ this place. 2 lives were almost taken because of drugs put in the drinks of 2 folks there for a good time. Near cost them their lives. This is a true and provable story. Yes. In 2015. But still. There was a reason for what took place. BE CAREFUL.

  This place is a disgrace to society. A group of 20 young man including my nephew rented a bus to barrie from Vaughan for a birthday celebration with friends and to our disbelief 2 out of 20 couldn’t make it in due to the fact that they were of colour. My nephew and his friend (Latinos) could not get in even though they had ID and were very nicely dressed. They allowed the other 18 (Caucasian and Italian friends) go in but the 2 Latino’s were told to go home so they had no choice other than to go to a restaurant and wait for the night to be over and their bus ride to come and get them (3 hours later). Very disappointed, will never visit again

  Super dissapointed with my recent experience at the Ranch. For years I’ve been coming here with my girlfriends since we were 19. This past Saturday my girlfriend and I decided to pop in because we hadn’t been in ages. The bouncer we encountered scammed us, he said we had to pay $20 to get into the bar. We assumed that may be legit because it was Halloween, but definitely not the case when we had to pay cover the SECOND time and the girl said that’s wrong and we never should have paid that.. probably won’t be back here again and I’ll be sure to pass this along to all my friends as well so they’re aware.

  This place should really have more police presence. The security and staff seem to think they are above the law. Watched a girl get trampled at this bar by 5 girls and the security guard kicked out the girl who was on the ground since the other girls were friends of friends etc. Unacceptable behaviour by the security guards after this incident occurred. After this, I watched a man being assaulted by a security guard with a gray beard. He used aggressive force to restrain this man, when he easily could have just kicked him out of the bar. Clearly the security guards at this bar seem to think they are police officers or are above the law. This is clearly NOT a safe bar to be at in Barrie, especially for young women. It is terrifying that places like this exist when we live in such a friendly and peaceful country.
