  I'm not reviewing the actual city hall, I'm reviewing the skating rink. The ice is well taken care of, and provides a nice opportunity go to outside for activities in the middle of the winter.

  One week after work was complete inspector comes over and says that we will have to remove 1/3 of the fence in length and 12" in the height. Now the fence cant be more then 3'3" in height and 21' in length from the garage.

  As advice if you do not now the answer to any question ask your colleague to help you, if you cannot find the correct answer that you are 100% sure on just say I don't know. That would save a lot of time and money to your customers (residents of this city) and it would save your reputation.

  This is not really a rating of city hall. It's more of a complaint that Dunlop street is getting a name change. Leave it alone barrie you already confuse the hell out of people and tourist when you changed Molson park to Mapleview. Just because you guys had a beef with Molsons brewery didn't mean it was nessary to involve us in it.

  If you will ever call in and ask for any kind of information ask about written confirmation signed by the person that is saying it. I asked 2 weeks ago for information on height and length of fence that is allowed in city of Barrie, city representative said it is 44" height and that fence will have to end up 2' from the street, I got exactly same information as a contractor that was doing the work and that called in city in front of me just to confirm it.

  I'm ok with changing it but now I have to cover the costs of removing the fence and fixing it to the correct height, not mentioning costs of initial installation. City will not cover this because I had no confirmation on paper about size for the fence.

  The loveliest city in Canada
