  Clean, modern and well lit store. Single best thing is lifetime warranty on Cabelas brand clothing and foot wear. No receipt required. Bring item into store walk out with replacement - no hassles/issues. That is very rare these days. Plus a Canadian website and not all clothing is XL and up catering to fat Americans like Bass Pro. Now that Bass Pro owns Cabelas I hope they don’t change that or turn Cabelas into crappy Bass Pro.

  Second, I bought an item and it didn't work out so I had to return...ACROSS THE COUNTRY!! Even though the store is only 2 hours away. Then they don't refund your (extremely expensive) shipping or the taxes charged on shipping. I tracked my package and it was delivered 10 days ago...I have yet to get my refund!!!!

  I will NEVER shop here again. I have now had 2 terrible experiences. One I ordered an item, and it took so long (3 months) to come that my credit card expired and when they called to get new info I said just forget it, bought the item on Amazon for half the price and had it in a week.

  Love this store. Every time I go to Barrie I make a point of stopping in to Cabelas. I have ordered many items online that I've picked up at the store. The staff are always friendly, and efficient with the exception of the gun counter staff. Some of the older guys will stand around talking to customers about nothing for 20 minutes before acknowledging other customers.

  Prices are competitive, and they usually have whatever you're looking for. The fudge is fantastic as well!

  We love stopping at cabelas on our way up north. A great outdoor shop. Lots of other great shops and restauraunts at the same exit off the highway- and even in the same plaza! You are able to redeem your bass pro gift cards here as well. They have good sales sometimes getting items up to 50% off. I have a few FXR items from here and I think they are great for winter
