  I am a member since the end of last year. The price, the staff and the equipment is reasonable. I really enjoy working out there and the black card spa is nice. Why it is only a 3 star location for me is because that most of the time something is out of order and it seems like it takes forever to replace / repair it. Most recently it seems like there are lots of new members which is certainly good for the business. But unfortunately there is a huge lack of cleaning and maintaining the equipment. More and more often the black card spa area is pretty dirty and as well the change rooms. Even though the membership is pretty cheap compared to other fitness clubs it should be looked after a lot more (more members means more dirt and more cleaning and more staff).

  I tried this facility last night and it was very clean, staff was approachable and TV shows to be desired. The music was great and the equipment tested were excellent and clean. Only one machine I really didn't care about. The weight machines used were great but I feel I need a little more direction with a trainer. I never got to try the yellow circuit but the overview from the staff member was extremely excellent. He shown how to used a few pieces of equipment and the Abs machine. The facility itself has a lot to offer for individuals that really need to be in shape and need to build muscle core due to a health condition. The washroom was clean and welcoming. I will need to change the clock bought for a key lock due to personal security reasons - never opened. I am interest in learning more about this hydro massage silo recommendation from the staff, if you purchase a black membership. Karen Gaudette McCarthy - EXCELLENT in all area's of a workout. 3.7 until I try the other equipment and talk to a trainer. Thank-YOU!

  Has everything most gyms offer for $60 + per month at a fraction 21$. This location is clean, warm (in the welcoming sense), offers many machines, open 24 hours all the time and not even close to busy. The craziest part about my black card membership is the guest privilege. I can bring the same person or a different person every single day for no extra cost.

  Not very happy!!! Bought a black card membership for my husband only to find it's all bull!! I was told we both could use it as a couple and we went a few times but last night we where told we both couldn't use the full gym??!! I wanted a tan and my husband wanted a hydro messuage when I asked for a manager I was told no manager would be in till Monday keep in mind this all takes place Thursday evening.

  I was previously with Goodlife Fitness, but now for a fraction of the cost I have pretty much the same benefits. Pros: very clean (Goodlife in Barrie had real issues with that), all machines are new and in good working order, gym is not overcrowded, staff friendly. Cons: you have to bring your own soap if you want to take a shower, there is no hairdryer, there is no blood pressure monitoring machine. Overall, I'm happy with Planet Fitness.
