  It's pretty fun and the place looks great, but there are way too many kids. You can't really do much without having to tell one to get behind you because you were in line ahead of them, or they jump on you in the foam pit, or whenever you hit them in dodgeball they don't even go out they just stand there. Would've been a lot cooler if there were less cbildren running around getting in your way.

  The first Time I went it was fun, but the second time was not a good experience. They got mad at us from swinging in the trapeze, sitting in the foam pit (off to the side and not covered to people can see us) and we where playing man hunt and they got mad at us and told us we had to stop(only three of us not disturbing other people there). They got mad at us for trying to make our own fun. For these reasons I can not recommend this place for anyone over 9 and can not give more than a 1 star review.

  My family loved this place. Lots of things to do and pretty spread out. The most enjoyable were the foam pits.

  It’s difficult to review X-Play because it’s so new. I feel that it will go from a 3 star to a 4.5 star venue within the next year as they work to train all of the staff and develop what works for their location. Please keep that in mind as you read this review. The place itself is a great looking welcome addition to Barrie community and is a nice competitor to Vertical Zone, Retro Planet, Etc. It has a very large and diverse trampoline section but it has little kids (4?) jumping with teenagers and adults which can get dangerous. I think they’ll adjust that and work to segregate age groups a bit. You have to purchase their “grip socks” for $3-4 so ensure you add that to the listed prices. The music was too loud for smaller children on weekends. The staff at the front desk can be slow with customers but I think they’ll get staffing levels under control with time. The Lazer tag there is amazing because it’s multi-level and very large. Every laser tag player also gets their own score which is great and the staff that run it did a great job while they were there.

  We really liked this place! The kids liked the trampolines. There are also cool foam pits and King of the Hill game! Parents can walk around and watch the kids play, relax on the lounge chairs or have a coffee at the tables. However, there are still no lockers and there is nowhere to leave valuables. I'd like to see this place more clean. In general, we liked it!
