  Barrie's South-end Kelsey's Restaurant, in the Walmart Plaza had recently re-opened after significant renovations and a re-branding of the restaurant chain. Now named Kelsey’s Original Roadhouse, this spot may be described as hip urban cowboy perhaps. We attended Thursday 21 September with the promotional offer of free wings. Staff, food, and service were great.

  We had been to this location many times prior to the renovations and it was always good or ok. The place looks fab and the food is even better! Our entire family LOVED every item, our server Megan was friendly and informative and all of our food was so hot and fresh. We will definitely return for more meals as long as the quality and service stays this consistent. Well done, Kelseys!! You get 5 points from this family!

  Excellent salad. My companion had fish and chips which were very tasty. The food was competently executed. Service was prompt without being intrusive. Broad selection of draft beers.

  Quite simply the worst steaks we have ever had. Char burnt rare steaks. Most likely pre cooked by how tough they were. The rest of meal was decent

  The food is okay, it's standard as it is in all Kelsey locations. However I felt very rushed by my server and eventually gathered my items and left. I understand table turn over is important but in a Sunday afternoon I felt he could of been a bit more accommodating.
