  Like the new decor. Arrived at 5:30 and was seated immediately. I had the chicken & shrimp. Nice portion, but always wonder why any restaurant gives you a bun and no butter. Didn't eat it. My dad had the 1/2 chicken and enjoyed it, as usual. He wasn't impressed with the paper lined tray as the paper seemed to let the grease pool and sit on top. Wait staff was friendly and proficient. I've always had a pleasant experience with staff at this location.

  Miss the old restaurant!! My family and I went to check out the new Swiss chalet. We had a younger server, that's fine, we ordered an app and entree's. It took so long I had to ask when we were getting our app. He said he forget to place our app order but put out entree's in ..(thank God!! ) He came back and offered us free desert and if that would make us happy!!

  We go to Swiss Chalet knowing what to expect and this location delivers more With a brand new renovation, this location is ready to impress. Everything is what you'd expect.. and more. My server, Adela, has been here 25 years and is excellent! Bayfield Swiss Chalet has a more casual and relaxed feel and with everything new, this is a great location to visit. You can now park in the back AND enter from the back as well... a definite improvement! (photos of new renovation)

  Thought we’d dine in since the Reno’s are done. The atmosphere was terrible. It felt like all the staff were miserable. Too many changes to the menu IMO, the pasta dishes were top notch but replaced with subpar versions. New garlic loaf is just a shadow of its former self. Pretty disappointed, nice looking place but it’s not a Swiss chalet anymore. More like a western grill wannabe. Safe to say we won’t go back. I only hope the other stores don’t make the same transition.

  Our server, Greg made the whole experience the best experience. We have been to the newly renovated Swiss Chalet on Bayfield 4 times since it reopened and Greg has been amazing. Right from the first time when we weren't certain about the changes made, he listened to our concerns and made us feel that Swiss Chalet would listen, and so far they have. The food was hot and delicious and the service is amazing!
