  Oh ~ ~ I remember now, yes, I also bought other meat at metro in the past: Steaks - tough and no taste, pork chops- no taste... whatever I buy - the meat had no taste... and tough! The sad thing is, you imagine you are eating the meat, a piece of an expensive steak, and without thinking: "you're enjoying the meat", without tasting the meat.

  Significantly overpriced for most items versus Freshco just across the street. Decent prices on some weekly meat specials but they hide the low price meat in the main meat section and put a higher priced version of the same meat in the end of aisle bin that everybody looks at for specials. I"ve kept my eye on this for over a year now and never once was the cheaper meat in the "on sale" fridge. Their answer is that the family pack size gets the lower price and they don't put family pack in the end of aisle display...why not???? Its a trick and tells you everything you need to know about what this store thinks of its customers. The higher prices on most other items in the store confirm this view that the customer is stupid and to be taken advantage of. I also agree with those who say the staff is unfriendly, especially the blondish woman who works the meat department.

  This time, I was wondering the chicken had no aroma - It had no aroma and Blah!! Oh, embarrassing moment: My family and guests were eating.... nobody said: "good;" "yummy," "U~ m~"... these are the normal compliments from my family and guests when I host.
