    FIRST - They told us they had the stove and upright freezer we wanted in stock, then the delivery team called today, the day before delivery, and said they don't actually have it and they don't know why they told us they do. I called the store to complain, and they hung up on me.

    We have purchased three sofas from Leon's in Orillia and we had an issue with one of the sofas, a manufacturing defect but past warranty. Leonard looked after us so well and was so personable that he made the experience a lot easier for us. We ordered a new sofa and we bought the extended warranty plan. This was a good business move by Leonard and has resulted in two very happy customers who will buy more from Leon's.Thanks, Leonard, for your understanding, patience and problem solving manner. Looking forward to doing more business with you in Orillia's Leon's.

    Booked the standard 4 hour window for delivery. You'd think they'd make it first off the truck to appease a customer who's fridge they lost. Guess again. And the manager never called. But they did send me a nice card thanking me for my business. How sweet.

    EDIT - FEB 5: Magically, as another review put it, they called my wife shortly after I posted this review, and suggested they MIGHT be able to send the stove as originally planned. I will keep this review updated

    If you're a young looking person they won't look twice at you seriously. Went in on Sunday afternoon to look for a sectional with a friend of mine who was looking at purchasing. Passed by a total of 5 people the 15 minutes we looked and not one person approached us, and it wasn't like they were swamped since they had time to huddle and chat with each other. We left and purchased a couch where the people were informative and approached us upon arrival. Thanks Surplus Furniture!

    Ordered and paid for a fridge early August. Received a call 4 weeks later saying it was back ordered. No problem. Then 4 more weeks of nothing. Called Leon's and was told it still wasn't in. We're at 8 weeks now. Asked for a manager to call me to explain further. The next night they called saying the fridge was in. A miracle! A day after I call the fridge magically arrives!

    We also bought a couch with a completely different salesperson, and the same thing happened... As we were paying for the $2000 couch, we were told that they didn't, in fact, have the entire couch set we wanted and it would be 5 weeks to receive it from the New Market location.

    The east coast sales rep, who was extremely kind up to this point, was visibly annoyed, and I heard her go around the corner, huff and puff, and then swear under her breath to a co-worker, not thinking I could hear her.

    I will give the Leon's corporate offices a chance to get ahold of me to save the sale, but as of this moment, I will never step foot in a Leon's location again. And I am furnishing my entire house! What a miss on their part.

    Went in just looking for a couch and as we were looking my boyfriend got an emergency call for work and we had to go. The sales person said this deal was on for that day only and it will never go on sale again. Will never find a price like this ! We purchased the sofa set and warranty. And checked the flyer today and it’s all still on sale !! Boyfriend was late to his work call all because she wanted the sale that night. Greedy lying sales people. Worse than a car salesman. Can’t trust them.
