  TERRIBLE SERVICE, UNFRIENDLY STAFF!!! My boyfriend and I visited the Barrie location yesterday to buy the Hamburg bar table. There were three staff members behind the till, no one greeted us or asked if we needed help. Took the table ID number to the till to pay for it after we looked at it alone, and we had to ask if this is where we pay. One girl just leaned up against the back wall with her arms crossed and never smiled. Bought the table, only for it to not be here until next Thursday because a truck only comes to this location once a week and the cut off day is Monday. Moral of the story, terrible and unfriendly staff, I will not be back except to pick up the table. Please hire friendlier staff - it is not like they need to do much anyway, it is only a furniture showroom and customers look and then just pay them for the product - not a challenge or intensive job. We were in and out in 10 minutes, which is quick and I wouldn't want to spend more time in that negative environment, but I'll remember the lack of service for a long time! Thanks for nothing, because it will take 10 days to get the table! Ha!

  Luckily, we also purchased the 100% wool Ivy Rug which is thick and luxurious and a perfect compliment to the living room. It's a lovely hand made almost antique grey hue and it goes well with our existing decor items. So after the Aurora disaster, Ivy saved the day , and looks and feels wonderful !

  Though the Aurora Area Rug we ordered looked amazing in the living room , we were suddenly packing it up to return it to the store. Almost immediately out of the wrapper we noticed an overwhelming chemical odor , and that the rug felt weirdly greasy. My mocassin bottoms were squeaking on the kitchen floor after getting the rug set up. I put layers of toilet paper down on one spot of the rug and stood on that spot for a few minutes and discovered that the rug was in fact apparently coated in a greasy film that turned the tp a dark almost charcoal color. Structube Barrie was happy to refund our money that evening on the Aurora Rug , and the Clerk said he would unroll the rug and check out the greasy texture, as he'd never yet experienced that issue with one of their polypropylene rugs. I'm rating the customer service high , and the Aurora Rug a bust - It is only 79. $ and though a pretty pattern and rich color, the smell and greasy feel made Aurora sadly not functional in our space.

  Love the furniture. Horrible Service. The young "gentlemen" that work at the Barrie Location never acknowledge that you've walked through the door. They are short and curt when asked any type of question. Unfortunate, as I love Structube. I would much rather order on-line so I don't have to deal with the staff!
